Heidelberg Engineering technologies combines medicine and physics to image the finest details of the eye, enabling clinicians to detect changes to the eye years in advance for the purpose of recognizing and measuring eye diseases. Among these diseases are glaucoma, Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Diabetic retinopathy (DR), and various forms of Keratitis.
Heidelberg Engineering tables are diagnostic stations used by eye care professionals to examine patients. They utilize advanced laser tomography and confocal imaging technologies to detect any anomaly in a patient’s eyes that may lead to and/or confirm the presence of a disease. The equipment is mounted onto a partitioned segment of the work table. This segment has a motorized lift that can be adjusted for the various patient heights. The tables are designed to hold a complete PC workstation, which includes, a CPU tower, Monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer. Heidelberg Engineering’s eye examination tables are designed to meet all the technical needs of both patient and eye care professional during the examination process.
