The Aquapheresis by CHF Solutions is a medical therapy designed to remove excess salt and water from the body. It provides a drug-free and diuretic-free treatment option for fluid overload.

This system allows physicians to specify and adjust the exact amount and rate of fluid to be removed from any given patient, resulting in a gradual reduction of fluid levels that has no significant clinical impact on the patient’s blood pressure, heart rate, or the balance of electrolytes in the body.

The Aquapheresis therapy has the ability to safely remove up to 500ml (1.1 lb) of fluid per hour. At the average fluid removal rate of 250ml (0.5 lb) an hour, duration of treatment is usually around 24 hours. That averages out to 6 Liters (13.2 lbs) total of removed fluid.
