The Daylight 5K Teeth Whitening System by White Science utilizes a state of the art lighting system to accelerate the teeth whitening process. It implements 5 key elements to achieve a white smile: Peroxide, Light, Pressure, Heat, & Exposure.

The 5000ºK white light allows for accurate shade matching, while the 430-470nm ‘cool blue’ light speeds up the conversion of hydrogen peroxide into hydroxyl radicals that penetrate the cellular structure of the teeth to release stains that have built up over time, essentially making your teeth shades whiter in the process.

The system’s unique light-guiding mouth piece contains an optical lens that disperses the blue light over all tooth surfaces. It’s patented self-forming foam pads are impregnated with a neutral pH hydrogen for deep & effective penetration into the enamel of the tooth. The mouthpiece effectively maintains mild which conforms the foam pads to the shape of the teeth.

The heat released during the teeth whitening process assists in releasing hydroxyl radicals. Heat output is minimal so that the user is comfortable during the process. And in just 15 minutes, the Daylight 5K delivers a brighter, whiter smile.

The DayLight 5k is a precision computerized light that emits “cool blue” light in the 430-470 nanometer spectrum for optimum teeth whitening results. The sketches shown above explore possible configurations for the primary computer and the light emitting apparatus of the system.

3D Models were developed to evaluate possible design configurations, material, & color choices for the controller unit, mouthpiece, and blue light apparatus. Several prototypes are often produced & tested to determine which designs best meet ergonomic & functional requirements. Engineering occurs all along the way to ensure successful manufacturing.

The finished product is the SpaWhite Daylight 5k by White Science. This product is now the primary teeth whitening system used in a widespread array of beauty spas. It has also been featured at well known hotels and resorts such as Sandals, the Hilton, Four Seasons, the Hyatt, and many more.
